The Ments was my first experience on a surf trip. It defiantly won`t be my last, nor will it be my last with Naga Laut.
We all had the trip of a life time. Sure the waves were amazing, that was always going to potentially be a given, but the crew were all incredible. Owner Ben, is a true professional but more importantly an awesome dude, that only cared that his tourists were treated with nothing but the best. That we were, from the best food ,best service, amazing waves, great stories and all round 12 days of nonstop smiles from all. Speaking on behalf of the boys, we have already looked into our next trip, and no doubt we are jumping aboard with Ben and his crew.
On behalf of all the boys, we can’t thank Ben and his crew enough for allowing us to come home with a memories of a lifetime!!!Can`t wait to see you all again, you all rock!!
10 days on the Naga Laut in the Mentawai’s is about as close to heaven as you can get without kicking the bucket. The whole setup on the boat is fine tuned for surfers. From Boy the chef’s epic food to Didit the surf guide’s guidance and advice as to where to go. He made some excellent calls and got us into some unbelievable surf, including the fun fest that is known as Maccas. One day in particular at Lance’s left is etched into my memory forever! The crew on the Naga Laut are professionals, they take care of everything with a big smile on their faces, so that you don’t have to worry about anything except getting the waves of your life. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to meet, travel and surf through the Mentawai Islands with this crew of awesome people. Until next time my bru’s!
Scored early season Mentawais with consistent fun sized swell an Uncrowded waves at almost every spot we surfed. The crew were unreal with their service. Unbelievable food and a local surf guide that knows everything possible about surfing the Ments. Definitely the best boat in the Mentawais for good service an scoring those uncrowded spots!!
